Im just going to go back to my good ol reliable cobra mk III and make profit the hard way :( That was 2 nights of hard work trading thrown away in 15 seconds

Type-6 Stripped of everything but shields with upgraded shield

I am trying to decide whether to use Viper or Cobra for Bounty Hunting I just REALLY don't like the Vipers tiny jump range but it is the better option for bounty hunting. What do you guys use and why?

If you're having a hard time with interdictions I wouldn't mind playing escort for where you need to go. At least if you did get caught, I could hold them off while you make a jump out of there.

As for which fighter ship, just roll with what you prefer. It's all about the fun here : )

I was totally broke about 3 weeks ago could't afford repairs or insurance on my main ship, so sold a module and bought a basic cobra. Removed shields, weapons and added the best frame shift drive (24ly jump range). Took me 3 hours trading rare goods to make about 3.5 mil and buy a maxed out Viper. Worth a go if you need credits fast and don't mind a boring 3 hours :) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... rQ/pubhtml is the trade route I used.

Guys, if you're logging in this evening is there a plan? Are we heading back to Lugh or anything else?

If you want to fly in wing of course.

I'll be on from 6pm gmt.

Yes, I'm heading back to lugh as I want to secure my top 5% :) I'll be in my private group as mistakes happen in conflict zones as we witnessed last night (all commanders turned red do to a friendly commander firing at my ship by mistake. I think that combat zones friendly fire is bugged for players and cap ships and one stay shot is all it takes. I need to test this further before submitting a ticket). Would love to fly with you again this evening, you will find the conflict zone a lot better without the 30 or so commanders like last night :)

Love the screen shots BTW!

Thanks for the advice guys, most of my combat in elite so far has been with the cobra, I kitted out a Viper last night and with my joystick / skill level I cant make the most of its manourverability to therefore I am going back to my good ol' cobra (and I might do a few hours of that rare trading after my daughter has gone to bed if im feeling better)

That sounds good Crimson :) If you fare better in the cobra, stick with that. Cobra will be my next purchase. Would like all ships for the collector in me.

Hopefully see you later : ) if not. Get well soon?
