Heading out to the Galactic Rim

Postby Mortis65 » Mon Nov 02, 2015 4:54 pm

I've done a couple of short 1k LY exploration runs to date. I am enjoying the peace and quiet the black.

If I recall my astronomy correctly, the Sol system is in the Orion arm of the galaxy. As a result, I am heading out to the Perseus Arm. I am currently in the sparsely populated space between arms.

I will report any interesting findings on route.

Wish me luck,

CMDR Dazed and Confused.

Happy trails CMDR.

Contemplating heading out for a longer run myself, at this point in time I'm considering either taking my anaconda or an iCourier, I'm leaning towards the courier :)
I'm going to hold for horizons though.
Want to make rank combat a bit and get the hang of the buggie (FD can call it an SRV until the cows come home, it's a buggy)

Rule 1: Pillage. Then burn.
Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.

I am back in the bubble. After about 4k LY out, and about 600 systems surveyed, I took some avoidable heat damage. As I did not have a AFM unit, I headed back home.
I just sold 600 systems of scans for about 11M credits after bonuses in Azrael/Raffertey's Mobius. My rank is now up to Pathfinder.
Now, to get my ship the way I want it. :)
I'll wave on the way out.

Did you notice a change in influence?

Just curious as I heard on lave radio that 10 million CR's seems to be the cap on influence, the CR's can be from any activity that affects influence including exploration.
