Greetings Commanders!

I am CMDR Steelrat451 (from a combination of two of my favorite books growing up). I've been playing Elite in one form or another since I was a 12-year-old with a Commodore computer and I've started this iteration about 6 months ago. Originally from Wisconsin, USA and currently residing in Iowa.

I chose PvE over PvP for several reasons including bad PvP experiences in other MMOs, I find it more relaxing (I can get conflict at work, thank you) and, for me, Elite as PvE is how it fits in my head. This group sounds like it will be a nice change.

I tend to spend my time bounty hunting, trading or running missions (or whatever catches my fancy) in a variety of ships, usually in Empire space.

I live in the good ol' USA too..... but a bit warmer place than yourself. I hail from the desert southwest.... in Arizona.

I spend most of my in-game time bounty hunting (and I do some trading and BB mission running on the side). Feel free to send me a friend request if you want to wing up sometime. I call the Azrael / Exioce area home, in Empire space.

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
