CMDR Scruffy Nerfherder here.

Just came back after over a year, got bored too quickly at release. Nice to find a group of people.

Recently saved up enough to get a pimped out Vulture after running rares for the cash. Ready to do some RES work, although I don't think I'm very good at it. Would love to team up with someone(s).

I'm in HIP 20277 and have pledged to ALD, although I don't know if I'm going to do much merit work at this point. Don't want to destroy any faction and I'm not sure I know what I'm doing enough.

(fwiw, I haven't picked up Horizons, so just have the base game for now)

The Vulture is an awesome ship for BH, no doubt!

I was just at HIP 20277 today, working over some pirates in a RES with a couple of wingmen.

I'd be happy to wing with you anytime. I am based close by and am usually doing combat somewhere in the area.

I am also with ALD, and can help you with some merit grinding too if you are interested. I typically just maintain level 2, so that I get the BH bonuses.

I made my way down to Exioce, so hopefully I can find some people to wing with for some NPC killing. Still trying to figure it all out.

Welcome! Scruffy is fine. As long as you're not stuck-up and half-witted, you'll fit right in here!

Compared to a year ago, you can actually make a decent amount of money through combat. A typical bounty hunting session nets me 3-5 million credits by the time my ammo/chaff/shield cell banks have run out.

If you're flying a Vulture, don't worry about combat - it's one of the most capable and easy-to-fly combat ships. Unless you're carry cargo, pirates in RES's won't attack first so you can pick fights at your own pace. Just be wary of wings - even two eagles can be a handful.

Welcome! I frequent the azrael system and hop around the plentiful res surrounding that system - always up for res hunting and what better way to do it than in a wing - CMDR Auloria in game if you wanna send an invite

Thanks guys. Added you as friends and hopefully we can find each other online - would really like to try some RES hunting in a wing, or even a CZ (although they seem to be kicking my ass - too many targets). I'm CST in the US, but my play times are sporadic - only occasionally during the day depending on work (I work from home, so can play if it's quiet) or evenings/weekends depending on Wife Aggro.

Current goal is to work towards a badder combat ship (Python maybe?) as well as an Anaconda for when I'm wanting to Chill-and-Trade. May even want to rank Imperial at some point to get a cutter - if only to say I've driven a cutter. I'll probably explode it leaving the dock...

aaaaand I managed to get a murder bounty is exioce. Guess that python shooting with the security patrol WASN'T actually WANTED.

Got it to go dormant, but I need someone to homicide me or I'll need to stay out of that system for a week.
