In short, coming from a combat minded pilot, I love it! It is incredibly nimble for it being huge. The speed is very slow. Like sub 100 for optimal turn speed and max even in boost is sub 300. You wont be catching any Cobra IIIs or even clippers if they want to run. With the arsenal you can put on it though, they will be dead before they know it. Even with the slow speed the engines feel strong and able to through around its bulk. In the anaconda or even in the FAS if you pull a sharp boost turn you have the annoying drift were you have to come to a stop and then go the other direction. The Vette wont have that. Probably partly to the lower speed but the power feels like it dosen't slip and you have to wait to go the way you want. The jump range is miserable. I'm hoping they address it at some point. A ship that big shouldn't have a 10 LY range full kitted. I got a extra fuel take to try to compensate the range.
Weapon placement is very good as a lot of the hard points are on the sides of the ship. If your in a fight from the smaller faster ships, gimbaled weapons can stay on target if they out turn you. Haven't done much in the way of huge hard points due to power constriction and Cred. Its going to take me a while to fully out fit it but right now its got some serious stopping power. Right now they have 2 large burst lasers. The large hard point on the belly is a double edged sword. It makes it hard for things to get out of your fire arch but its hard to hit one thing with all weapons.
