Hello Folks

Hello everyone!

I am looking forward to flying with some of you folks in ED, I have been reading through your forums the past couple of days and believe that you all are playing ED in a way that I would enjoy.

I have been playing PC games for more years then I can remember, the very first PC game I remember playing was Might and Magic 1. I played Trade Wars on various BBS' before the internet was actually around, I know I am old.

I enjoyed the Wing commander series and especially Privateer way back in the day. I have played UO, WOW, DAOC, AO, EVE, and Jumpgate to name but a few of the games I have played over the years.

I really enjoyed Jumpgate, it was the first truly "realistic" space flight game that was multiplayer that you could fight and trade commodities in.

I am looking forward to getting my space fix with ED for now, but I am watching Star Citizen and what it has the potential of becoming.

I look forward to getting to know some of you folks in the near future.

My Commander name in ED is Dai Sho.

If you haven't already search out the friends list and add your name to it and then get adding as well, that way you will always have a bunch of people to wing up with.
This is a great community that extends far beyond just the game.
Look forward to seeing you in space.

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

If you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius. We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimate to the game while having fun.

Watch out for the monkey though, especially if it has a battle weapon..

Returning after a hiatus, looks like alot has been happening within Mobius since I departed. Hopefully I will get a chance to see some of these changes first hand.
