Hailing in from a small town near Vienna, Austria I would like to take the time to say hello and so...
I have not been playing E:D for long, I got the game a week ago. I played the tutorials and started off in Open. In my first courier mission in my first super-cruise attempt to a system approx. 140ls away I got pulled out and shot down by another player in a Cobra

I re-logged into Solo and started playing something what I would call "euro truck simulator in space", just hurling cargo around to get some money (and purchase an Adder) and it is fun so far.
The only thing I miss is player interaction. The NPCs are ok but lifeless, space feels a tad empty. But after my experience with Open play I looked for alternatives and eventually stumbled across Mobius. And here I am.
My last space sim experiences were Freelancer and that Wing Commander Saga mod for Freespace. So... making a transition from yaw to pitch/roll was very weird at first. Now I appreciate the extra dimension of freedom - even though I despise some docking stations since they seem to rotate way to fast for me to smoothly enter... maybe replacing my Logitech F310 would help... but so far I manage and get by

Anyways, long story short: looking forward to fly, profit and enjoy the void with you all!
Take care!
