Little about me:
I'm a 30-something gamer with tons of experience in MMO's (WoW, SWTOR, Rift, Eve). I am however pretty new to flight/space sims, so your first encounter with me will likely be witnessing me awkwardly slam into a space station whilst attempting to dock

I grabbed ED on the latest round of steam sales and have been playing for a couple days now in solo while I figure out how to correctly operatate my spacecraft.
I came across this group randomly, I think it may have been mentioned in a review? Regardless, the Mobius PVE group sounded like a perfect fit for me. Having played tons of online games, I'm no stranger to griefers. While I understsand everyone has the right to enjoy a game the way they want, being killed for lulz is not my definition of a good time. I do, however, enjoy competitive PvP but only voluntarily so. I think I read somewhere about something called 'conflict zones'? Not sure if that's the equivalent to 'warzones' or 'battleground' from other popular MMO's. Anyways, I'm no where near competent enough yet to even try anything like that against real pilots!
Playing solo the last couple days has felt a bit lonely. I'm definitely looking forward to bumping into some of my fellow Commanders (hopefully not LITERALLY bumping into!)
Cheers,
