Greetings and well met.
In flesh space I am a 46 year old human male, married, two kids. I first played Elite in 1985 on an Amstrad (Schneider) CPC 464 and was kinda hooked on this game. In later years I played Elite on the PC, Elite Plus, Elite II: Frontier and Frontier: First Encounters as well as a bunch of other space games. When Elite: Dangerous came to Kickstarter I was almost in tears: Both for joy because Elite was coming back and sadness because at that time I hadn't had the funds to contribute. A few months later I purchased the Premium Beta version.
This account is now CMDR Robert Blackwolf, a triple Elite CMDR who mostly flies a Corvette.
To prevent boredom I have another account: CMDR Duke Dodo who is still on the road to greatness.
As for PvE vs PvP? I was never a really competetive person. While I did some regulated PvP in Ultima Online and World of Warcraft, the chaotic nature of open world PvP never appealed to me.
