I played a bit solo for 54 hours to this point to get into the game a bit.

I am currently somewhere near alitoth because I wanted to get the 20% off on the Asp
but dropped that thought when I my REP stopped going up with Alioth Independents

I have been a member of the Mobius group for months.

I saw something about a photo shoot this Saturday & thought I would sign up, sods law the wife accepted an invite to a barbecue.

Oh well, at least it inspired me to register here at last and say hi. Can't be too sad though, its family and there will be plenty of good food and drink, we always have a nice time with them.

Hope you all have fun, I will enjoy looking at the pics when I get home, then most likely going to a Res and crashing into a roid in a inebriated state, (in solo), nothing like the insurance screen to remind you its bed time

CMDR Toran Arkwood here.

Decided to try out Elite Dangerous so here I am and I've been playing for a few days now. I'm used to playing EVE online so this is a bit different - but enjoyable. Live in the UK and old enough to have played the original Elite (not sure if docking is easier or harder now ). Just upgraded to an Adder and heading out to Empire (Lavigny-Duval supporter) for a mix of exploration, smuggling, and mercenary fun - or else anything that takes my fancy.

Ended up on this site, and joined to the Mobius group, looking to add some social context to the game as even in open play mode I hardly ever saw another CMDR ... never mind have some form of communication with them!

If you're playing in the Mobius group, and are flying around Duval space, I'll bet you're more likely to run into another commander than you would be in Open

Arissa seems to be pretty popular with the Mobi-ites.
