Help please! I'm trying to do a planetary salvage mission from Azrael. I found the site, in a neighbouring system, and I salvaged one unit of structural regulators. The mission needs two, but that's all there is, the other items are grid resistors, pesticides and explosives. Everything was there together, in one spot. Is there another salvage site? Am I supposed to use my radar and search the area? Or is it a mission bug and should I just abandon it? I don't really understand this.

Emma, pop back out to Super Cruise and come back to the planet and follow the marker again. When you drop out at the location, it will re-spawn the items in a slightly different spot.

Thanks Loriath -that worked This time there were two cannisters. Those missions are sort of fun, but they take a lot of time for the rewards.

Also, my ship got attacked while I was landed on the planet. I didn't know that could happen. Luckily there was no damage and the local police saw him off!

You're lucky the cops were there!

I try to remember to bring up my bottom center panel (where you launch your SRV) and hit 'dismiss ship' after I get in the SRV and clear my ship's surroundings. The ship will then leave the planet's surface and be safe from attack in orbit.

For some reason, I thought my ship would be safe on the planet's surface. I didn't know they could follow me down there, and I also like to see it waiting there for me. The planets are slightly creepy - dead and moon-like and lonely, and the SRV makes some odd noises. But you're right, I definitely want my ship to be safe, so I'll send it back from now on.

I'm parked in a star system near Azrael, doing some missions. They have some good payouts for quick missions, so I'll do the non-combat ones, even the salvages!

I was in Exioce today and saw quite a few delivery missions on the board at Ft Lawrence. Might be worth a look.

I've just done a whole load of delivery missions (filled up, gone out, come back, filled up, out again). Maybe I'm overly optimistic and it really needs more people, but I don't seem to be having any impact on our influence levels there.
