Hi all!

I started navigating the galaxy last year and although I prefer to do missions alone, I really love knowing that I am not alone in the galaxy and knowing that I can meet other humans also just for a greeting or a short chat!

So the open mode would be my favorite, but I play for fun and knowing that in the most crowded places there is a very high chance of being destroyed by a ganker without any chance of being able to defend myself and especially without his assassination against a clean ship is properly punished , this is not fun for me (I've already been ganked ), so this is another reason for joining this group.

In RL I'm Matt from NE Wales, electronic music nerd and organic gardener.

I played the original Elite c.1984 on my BBC-B for some months, but never got anywhere due to lack of goals and focus. It was enough fun though. Fast forward to 2005 when I discovered Eve Online, and was amazed at some of the similarities, but befuddled by lack of friends to play it with. Fast forward a bit more to last week, when some local pals finally persuaded me to dig deep and buy the E:D Horizons release, and we've been on it most nights ever since.

I've been a space hippy for years since starting Eve, doing anything but getting into a fight. More recently I finally decided to join some dedicated PvP fight clubs there, but these have tended to be overly in-crowd, ego-driven, and volatile. I'd still like to find some fun & friendly PvP in Elite, but not got there yet. So...

I'm keen on finding plenty of PvE in Elite til then, and would be glad to team up with others who enjoy the social aspect of that. I'm UK time zone, often playing anywhere between 6pm-12am , or during the day if it's too rainy for gardening.

To the date, i have 2 weeks since began to play E.D, and totally in love whit it (i really love been a Space FedEx XD), so my focus is (and will be) explore, and going around.

So I'm really grateful to be able to play with like-minded cmrds and provide support in what my humble ship (and my abilities) can do.

Hi!

I've been in Mobius for awhile now, just finally getting around to making a forum account. I've also recently reset my CMDR, so I get to be a noob all over again! I play pretty casually from time to time, but when I do play it's in VR, on PC, and in the Mobius PvE group. Over this and my previous CMDRs I've done mostly mining and exploration, and some light bounty work. I haven't reached as far as Thargoid content or deep exploration (more than around 1k LY outside the bubble) yet, though. My first trip to Hutton Orbital was completely by mistake, but I'm still proud to call myself a Hutton Orbital Trucker.

I also have a couple ships in Star Citizen sitting in mothballs until they do something exciting again with an update. When I'm not in space, I'm usually in Final Fantasy XIV.

Been playing since the game first released on Xbox and have recently built my first real PC to where I'm playing more frequently now. Feel free to add me and shoot an invite anytime to play. I currently fly a Type-7 for cargo runs and have a Vulture that I'm trying to build to be as good as everyone claims they are. That or I may sell it soon and just go with a Fed Assault Ship, Python or one of the newer ships in game. Lot has changed since I last played so any help would be great!

Hi folks!

Commander Ryohei here; in the real world I'm from the county of Fife in Scotland, and ingame I'm currently based at Ray Gateway in the Diaguandri system.

I played the original Elite, way back in the mists of time, then had a lengthy involvement with EVE Online. However, I got sick of continually losing ships, kit, creds etc. to gankers (I call them something else - a word that begins with 'w' and ends in 'ankers'), so when Elite: Dangerous came along it was love at first sight. I mostly stick to solo play, though I've been known to have a wander around in open, but never when I'm driving my best ships. Speaking of which, I've just finished engineering my exploration Anaconda, the 'Sir Patrick Moore', which will happily do 79.21 ly with a full tank of unleaded.

Exploration is my main interest, but in the course of engineering my fleet I've had to dabble in trade, mining & combat as well, and had a lot of fun doing these things. My explo rating is Elite, in trade I'm at Tycoon, and I'm s**t at combat, so only Competent at the moment.

Just now I'm trying to mine painite, to ramp up the cash balance and maybe bring an FC my way. If anyone is at a loose end, I could use a wingman to fend off the NPC dicks while I dig up asteroids.

I didn’t know that there were groups like this until recent and I’m curious to find out the difference.
Also, I find it pointless to destroy other players when there are so many other way’s to have real fun. Harming other players game isn’t funny at all…

You will also find me on Twitch ( https://www.twitch.tv/at_logic_me ) where i share some gaming experience to give some extra entertaining to family and friends (nothing professional).
Lately, with our current world situation(covid-19), I’ve intensified the numbers of streams to please others and also for myself, a way to keep contact with the “world” in a pleasant and safe way.

Found this place called Daves Hope, ideal (almost always in the light) place to gather a lot of commanders.

Hello Commanders!

Real name here is Tom. I live in the US, currently in PA, but soon moving to CO. I'm a mobile software engineer and develop iOS and Android apps. I just recently got into ED and am loving it. I play in VR, and got a HOTAS setup, and just love how immersive it is.

My commander name is Zekus Alexander. It's really my dog's name. He is Ezekiel Alexander, but sometimes I call him a dingus when he's being silly... and that turned into Zekus.

I just filled out the form and sent the request to join MOBIUS PVE AMERICA, so hopefully that will be accepted some time in the next week and I can see some of you in game. It will be nice to see other commanders in the game. I've been staying away from open play because having players out there ganking and terrorizing other players just for fun isn't my thing. After spending days or a week or more out on an exploration trip just to have someone gank me and I lose all of that work is not my idea of fun. So I'm looking forward to a great PVE experience.

Greetings all,

I have just applied to join (CMDR Akey_UK), on the PS4. Only started a couple of months ago and played mainly solo, but managed to build myself a nice stable of ships for pretty much any role now (except Xeno hunting, I've not got brave enough for that yet).

Not interested in PvP, and after an experience in Eve and other online games, I want to enjoy my limited play time enjoying myself. If a lose a ship I want it to be because I did something stupid, not because I came up against the Griefer with 1bn credit newbie hose.

Anyway looking forward to getting some great PvE action, especially as I have just seen that you can do the Combat CGs in the group (just watch that fire to make sure not to hit another player )
