Built a diamondback explorer last night with a rebuy of 1.5 mil.

Just for laughs I put a class 3 beam turret on it and actually works rather well

Ship and fittings about 8 mil.

In an effort to get this thread back on track....

Yes, waiting until you have enough funds to outfit the Asp with at least D modules and enough money for insurance and cargo would be best.

Love my Cobra. Made me my first and second 100 million. Well almost my second. I think I sprung for the Python around 190 million. Miss those smuggler runs.

I'd aim for 50 mill to be on the safe side.....But I'm cautious.....

That is for a fully A-Rated with Military armour though.....You might want to go less......

Plus you will have to get used to it......Momentum mainly.....

If what you do is mostly trading\long haul missions.

Mines seem to be a traders best friend these days, but could cost a pretty penny to use, it's quickly about <100k for a full rack, I normally get 4x that on the bounty from the kills if I do get jumped, but then again I get jumped by big high ranked things.

If you want straight up combat I would recommend getting another 10 mil on it, but you can definitely make oodles of cash with a fit like this.

Of course I also highly recommend being able to go to a 5a FSD immediatly if possible.
