Hi All

Cmdr Steel-Boot here thanks for accepting me. I played elite years ago ago (first version) on C64 then again on Amiga and loved it hence I thought I'd finally give this ago. I can say its easier to dock now than it used to be thankfully

I've been playing (well overcome and lost) solo and wanted so help etc. Started with keyboard and mouse, then Xbox 360 controller and struggled like mad now onto a HOTAS and life is a litte more bearable and I have ASTRA for company when she listens to me. I'm astonded by the size of the game but have no clue what direction to go currently registered to PvE.

I currently have 3 ships all upgraded as far as they need to be

1. Cobra III (set up currently for multi missions but have all the bits stored for fighter config)
2.Viper III
3. T6 (running a ship without weapons feels odd but then flying a brick whats the point of them)

I now have got almost 20M creds so I'm about to buy 4th ship which will be AspX and then grind again towards either Vulture or longer term Python. I have done the high res thing a little bit but went back to doing run missions and was making between 1-3M a session until they nerfed how many types of missions you could do :x

I play through steam but unfortunately I haven't got a clue about wings and stuff so not sure what the next step is being in a big (AND i MEAN BIG) gang like this. Probably sit in my little bubble until a read up a bit more on the forums.

Anyway thanks again and fly safe.

Welcome to the group. Hit me up in-game if you want to wing up sometime. (The invitation is open to anyone else reading this as well) One of the things I enjoy in the game is helping newer commanders learn about winged combat, and answering noob questions. Voice comms preferred. :)

Heyooo! Dag Dobrini in-game. I'm over in Belobog right now helping the Labor parties rise up against The Man (or The Woman as the case may be). I'm thinking of moving over to Utopia soon, so if you are around and see me in-game, feel free to say hi!

Also if you need help with something, I'm happy to pitch in. I haven't really winged up with anyone so I don't know how that works, but I'm happy to give it a try.

See you in game!

Hi everyone CMDR JeeDrake here! First of all thank you for letting me join this huge community, it feels good to know i won't cross a player that will interdict and destroy me for the fun of it :-(.

I live in Canada, I'm a french canadian, 28 years old and a vehicule mechanic. I got Elite last December and made my way up to big guy. I'm now flying the Zodiark, my wonderful Anaconda and i'm repping my way up to the Fed Corvette. I mostly do salvage (yes illegal salvage, bad CMDR!!), planetary exploration and trade runs, and occasionnal bounty hunting (and of course I fend off all those pirates wanting my booties!). Also got a Type 7 outfitted for mining operation, as I love mining when i need to relax. If anyone want to tag for anything, need someone to accompany you for protection, or a partner for bounty hunting, I'm the guy! If you want to show off your originality with your ship design? I'm also the guy! (God I love Visual Modification to ship :-D) Or if you just want to hang around and chat, I'm also here too! Theses days I mostly hang around Rhea (As I want to participate in Felicia Winter's powerplay campaign), but I also feel home in system around Lembava.

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander JeeDrake.

I also work in the auto repair industry. I put in more decades than I care to think about as an ASE master tech and the last few years I've been a shop supervisor.

Feel free to add your name to one of our 'In game friends lists'

In game friends list for PC
In game friends list for XBox US
In game friends list for XBox EU
In game friends list for PS4

If you haven't requested to join yet then please see the instructions on our join page.

Check out our TeamSpeak servers and Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already Image.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

just signed up and sent in request for mobius pve. im pretty sure i messed up my first app.

CMDR Localdeck

im in my mid 30's and living in NY. i work as a communications lineman.

been doing a little of everything. grinding fed rank and working towards a vette currently, also i'm working on engineers. havent brought myself to commit to the black for exploration tho... yet

i personally chose pve over pvp because i like to come on and relax. it gets boring in solo and mobius offers a place full of like minded individuals.
im looking forward to meeting you all in the void!
see you. space cowboy

Greetings, CMDRs!

My name is CMDR Rudolph van Cyanide and I am glad to join this awesome community. As to how I got this far? Well... here is my story:

Starting in a Sidewinder as many other Commanders, I took my first few steps in space with it a pretty long time ago (2 - 3 years I believe), earned some money, upgraded and got better and better at handling my ships, the dangers out there, etc.. I've always been the kind of quiet guy though, sitting back, enjoying the view while having some relaxing music in the background. Haven't brought it to an Elite status yet, but that's not far off anymore!

So, why do I choose PvE over PvP?

Although I'm more of an Explorer and Trader, I sometimes do fancy some combat, be it PvE or PvP. However, a lot of this "PvP" that is going on in Open lately, is the thing I consider griefing at the worst. I do not mind if you destroy me and my ship with tons of cargo onboard if you've got a reason (e.g. playing as a pirate and demanding cargo, interdicting and telling me there's a blockade, etc.), because that's the game, and that's how I like it. A lot of people however are just flying around in their completely up-engineered FDL's and Corvettes/Cutters bashing on much weaker ships and Commanders just to feel strong. No reason, just interdicting, opening fire immediately and that over and over again. Community Goals are a real pain to do sometimes because of that. That's why I decided to join Mobius in the end, since you've got that sense of role-playing and peace between each other, which I am a great fan of!

So, that's me and my reason for joining...
As always, fly safe out there CMDRS and see you in the galaxy! o7
