Hi Im Bowza
I have had the nickname Bowza since late 1980's in the Atari ST and Amiga scenes. its nothing to do with Nintendo it was my first Dogs name as an adult. I wanted something that could be shouted across a park unlike fluffy or tiddles
, he was a big dog needing a big name Weimeraner.
Well I have been a game from the Atari 2600 wooden console, became a big fan of Arcades games like Asteroids scramble moon cresta etc in the early days, then onto track n field hyper sports, and pinball machines, have built and owned my own full size mame cabinet.
Computer history had access to a TA 4a machine with a side scrolling helicopter type game, then got my own commodore vic 20, Spectrum, Atari ST, starting working around that time and found i could upgrade the ram and floppy drive from spares in work, moved on to Amiga 1200 oh yes Frontier
, from then was PC, games like Doom and xwing, Dune. Doom we had a hacked version of neoware light to play 4 player over coax cable network, thin Ethernet. soon after modems became easy to get to connect to bulletin boards then the internet took off. Early PC was 486 DX 50 with vesa local bus and scsi interface, again access to scsi drives faster through put a the time.
PC became as much of the hobby as the gaming.
I suffer Motion sickness from gaming in First person shooters so I was pleased when i tested ED and found I could play with no issues.
So here I am CMD Bowza looking to learn the world of ED.
