I just joined the group and look forward to meeting some of you in space. I started playing during Gamma back in November and really am enjoying the game. I spent untold hours playing the original Elite back in the 80's and the past few weeks have been bringing back some very fond memories. I started playing Eve Online back about 10 years ago when it first released. I dropped out after a year or two when I lost interest. Picked it up again in 2012 and played for a while but just did not enjoy the experience. E:D is shaping up to be the game I have always wanted to play. If FD implements even a fraction of their vision, it should be awesome.
I am currently based out of Ruckbah or Wolf 10 and have been playing mostly Open. I haven't run into any real CMDRs since launch, so not sure how many people are in this sector. You'll usually finding me either running trade runs or out exploring along the fringes.
