Cadet lightkor saluting you from a pre-Supercruise nation known as Canada.

I aspire to become a commander after I complete flight academy (a.k.a. the tutorials).

CMDR Nolanus Raven recommended me to follow his footsteps and so I am here hoping that I will be accepted by his colleagues as well.

I look forward to any guidance and advice you're all willing to give me.

Hi, requested to join the group through the online form, and in game yesterday. Still waiting for the group to pop up. I'm a normal player looking to see what all the PVE players are up to. Part of my exploration is meeting new commanders. I was a Beta backer, and try to remain active in game, as well as some live streaming on youtube. The galaxy was very empty when I started, but now I bump into commanders in the oddest of locations. With a membership of over 37,000, my curiosity was sparked, where else am I that someone in this group may be? Maybe I'm missing out on some new friends. I'm anxious to find other players of similar play style, goals, and understanding of the background game mechanics. I was mastering economies, powerplay, etc, then all the alien stuff finally ramped up, so now I'm looking to explore with others, learn new things, and have an easy PVE experience.

I don't expect to make Mobius my home, as I spend most of my time in open play for the thrill of it. I don't have any PVP ships, although I am looking forward to building a PVP bounty hunter in open play and being a "good boba fet" as described in FFE's list of things you can be. I've never hunted players, or found the thought of it appealing. Powerplay opens that option, but who is to say what someone is up to, and I'm not one to decide and ruin their fun. As someone that made most their credits trading in any system that was paying, I know the sting of interdictions without real rhyme or reason, as well as pirates without any honor. So if someone enters my powerplay bubble under enemy flag, I don't think it fair to take it upon myself to drop the judge hammer. For all I know, they could be supporting a local faction I favor, just like myself in their territory.

I understand this is a PVE only group, and that is why I am here, to experience another aspect of the game. I also enjoy the PVE experience uninterrupted some times. So maybe I will meet other players of the same mindset.

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, new commanders! :)

Feel free to add your name to one of our 'In game friends lists'

In game friends list for PC
Xbox EU and Xbox US

and check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already Image.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Dear fellow-commanders and commanderesses ;)

Greetings out of Vienna/Austria, from where I joined today, in hope for getting to places where no men ... ever!

As a preferred single player, explorer, trader, errandeur* with great tendencies to rts and role playing adventures, and as I am absolutely not interested in stupid killing or ruining others fun or lifes, neither in real life nor in gaming - - well, monopoly-like games aside :D - - I would like to give this PVE approach a try as I do very much enjoy E:D for just freshly 70 hrs or so but already becoming an addict.

So I guess here is the kind of single player / open play mixture I could imagine to appreciate, without certain "open play madmen" - for I just wanna have fun, respect others as I wish to be respected but seeking challenge and maybe common play and joint missions out there, if possible.

I did my ingame request today on group "mobius" - not "mobius pve" - but I am not sure, if this was correct, as I stated coming from Europe, filling out the join-form with "mobius europe timezone" but there is no indication of time zone related group search ingame, if the ingame-groups are time-zone related anyway.

In any case I hope to see you soon flying around and maybe having a nice little chat and experience !!

Good day commanders, I just started playing this past week. So far I've only played open play, mainly doing fedex quests and some mining. Looking forward to flying/chatting with y'all.

:D ....Greetings fellow Commanders, my name is Ken, and I reside in Alabama, in the US.
I cannot express enough the happiness I feel that this game came our ( ps4) way. I have been counting down the days ever since announcement. PvE is what I will be participating in, and the fact that I can join a group where you wont get blown out of the sky every time you enter is a great plus. Thank you Mobius for giving us a place to play our way, as a 53 year old gamer, I don't play fast paced shooters. Please feel free to say hello in the black.

Hello, Cronoevolution on the Forums

CMDR Cronoevolution in game (I've been Cronoevolution since Asheron's Call back in 1999)

I've been gaming for some 33 years, I build my own PC's specifically to game.
This is my first space sim game I've played in nearly 2 decades (I don't count No Man's Sky, which I enjoyed but was too buggy)

I'm not a particularly chatty person, I've been playing WoW since Vanilla beta solo 90% of the time, Warframe/The Division exclusively solo because it's much tougher, and many hundreds of other games over the decades, but if someone needs help I'll always respond. Looking forward to seeing how addictive this game will be.

Greetings, my good Commanders.

I have played played Elite: Dangerous for a couple years on and off. Looking for some social interaction that doesn't involve my face being melted. I am interested in cooperative exploration and bounty hunting. If you need a gun on your wing and I am nearby just ask.

Take care in the void, Commanders.

07 Greetings Mobius PVE Commanders!

CMDR Solaris Titan reporting in from WA State, usa. I am a 30yr old computer geek (SQL Analyst/Programmer for a living) and all around space freak! I love anything to do with astronomy and astrophysics. I have played this game quite frequently for the past 8 months since I bought it (450hrs) and have experienced quite a lot in-game! I played mostly solo but I really want to share this experience with others because space is a big place and it gets pretty dang lonely out there. I know I'll enjoy meeting commanders from all over the globe with interests other than shoot-on-sight!

See you out in the black.

Hey, I'm Nicetrynsa, same name in game as well. I've been using that username since 2015, I want to say. Used to use Teufelzorn a lot around 2012-2014, and before that Pathurnax around 2011.

Joined Mobius because I've heard open basically means either run or die if you're a cargo runner, and I don't particularly enjoy that. I'm here to do cargo and mining runs, with a bit of battle spectating if I see one happening I'm not a part of.

Playing with Keyboard and Mouse only, since I don't have a HOTAS/Flightstick yet.
Officially rank #280k at osu!Standard, rank #88k at osu!Taiko.
Still craps himself when dropping out in front of stars or stations.
Arma 3 keybinds best keybinds.
Bingewatches Top Gear or listens to 24/7 Music Twitch streams while playing.
