Hello All, I've been playing for a couple of months and love the game. I need mentoring in how to survive in an A rated FDL against these NPC Cobra IIIs that seem to have super powers. I got the toys, now I need the skills. I just don't have enough bananas to do this trial and error. Cheers!

An FDL should put you in a very strong position against a Cobra MkIII, so if you are having issues it could be either your weapons load out, so first question what are you using?, or it could be that you are trying to take on wings of enemies which is not to be recommended especially if they are Cobras.

Now it may be that they are using railguns or PAs, these are very nasty weapons so manoeuvrability is your key here, try to avoid jousting (flying directly towards that front of your enemy), use of your lateral thrusters helps with this.

Thanks for the comprehensive and rapid response. I think the loadout probably needs some help. I'll post it as soon as I find my way around.
