I'm PEATK on here and in game
Real name is Pete.
I'm in the UK and old enough to remember playing the old 1980's version of Elite on a BBC computer.

I've been a CMDR for almost a year but have got fed up with pointless attacks by 'real' players spoiling the open play experience for me.
Yet I quite like the idea of playing in an environment with more than computer generated 'players'.

What a great idea to have a group where it possible to meet with real players without having to worry about whether I need to deploy hardpoints or execute an emergency escape jump.

As an introduction - I am Cmd apolloz, I'm one of the many kickstarters and first played this game when it was released on the 32K BBC Micro in the 1980's. I never expected a new version would be made almost 30 years later and it has certainly been an experience to where they have taken this simulation, I can't wait to see where they go next.

I don't get to play as long as I would like these days, but will defintely look to join the online members group when I next login and look forward to meeting you.

Long time Frontier fan from the Amiga days... Just recently got into ED. Already sick of the effort I put in and someone who is CLEARLY way above my gun/ship spec deciding to take me out. Many nights spent all gone in a flash. Can't afford the insurance.
I need to play "online" as I think the human element makes the games!
I will sit in solo like a scared bunny just to try and build up funds. I am missing out in the real value... Buddies!!!

Hi All, relatively new to the game and have been playing solo for a while. I heard about this group and decided to join! I'm currently in a Cobra just kind of meandering around. Bought Horizons last night so I'll probably spend today playing with planetary landings.

Hey everyone, CMDR HJ-RedRaven here.

Originally Open player, since launch in 2015, got ganked a few times (mainly when rockets were being misused in stations etc), so bailed to Solo.

I like seeing other players, but not having to continually stress and just relax in the game is great.

I'm fairly active in the ED Engineers and VR forums too.

Hope to see you all in the black (well, as far as black goes in the Rift!)

Hi, Thanks for accepting my request to join Mobius.Really enjoying ED Horizons on Mobius PVE and have already met and friended a few CMDRs in game. The only other game I've enjoyed as much as this is IL2 Sturmovik 1946 with VPMOD Pack, which also has a great community.
