I've been on the forum and Mobius for about a week now, so I suppose it's time to introduce myself. The name might be a little weird, I mean, who has numbers in their name, right? But who am I to question my parents? Incidentally, I was also given no surname. I don't know if that's because they are weird or if they just didn't like me. I've been in space so long now that I've run out of things to think about them.
I've yet to cross paths with another Commander in my travels, though I haven't been to the more populated areas yet. See, while my travels have taken me far and wide, I only discovered *this* Elite: Dangerous galaxy about 72 hours ago. One minute, I was in a vast expanse of nothing, with 18 quintillion possibilities, none of them quite satisfying my needs or interests. The next, I arrived here, and was given a trusty Sidewinder.
It was a clunky little ship, not that fast, not that big, and pretty well outclassed and outgunned by every other ship it encountered. I had to learn to fly all over again, and, thankfully, was able to make liberal use of my insurance policy. Who knew things like mail slots and landing pads could be so vindictive to a new visitor?
I won't bore you with the details of all of my adventures, but let's just say I've tried to stay on the right side of the law (more or less successfully), even helped the authorities a good bit, made a few waves in the ranks of the Federal Navy, helped out several stations with various needs, and ferried a few rich tourists around the Bubble, or at least what I think of as the Bubble. I'm not sure I quite have my head wrapped around the scale of it.
My Sidewinder was parked for a time, and replaced with a trusty Adder that served me well for a while. Both of those ships have gone now from everything but my memory, and my current "fleet", if one can call it that, is 2 ships strong. Both are currently multipurpose setups, but now that the Asp is coming along, I'll be able to specialize each a bit more. So, without further adieu, I present:

I've been to 1 engineer and have an invite to meet with another, and as soon as my Asp is well outfitted, I'll likely strip the guns and shields, and head out into the black, away from civilization, just to find out what's out there.

I've never really gotten in to the role play side of things, but I have been interested in it. Elite seems to nearly beg to be role played since everything is self driven to begin with.
