Hello, Mobius!

I've been playing ED off and on for a bit over a year, and just today heard about this group from an ObsidianAnt video. Most of my time has been spent solo, mining in the mid rim. My current daily workhorse is the ASP Explorer, kitted out for mining + planetary landing. I've only joined a wing once, and it felt like a whole different game!

I've got a viper for messing around with pve bounties, but I don't have a lot of combat experience. I'd like to try out more of the game, and hope to save up for a dedicated "discovery" ship soon. I've read good things about the diamondback explorer for long range versatility, but am still shopping around. I also have not participated in any of the faction powerplay activities. So... apart from mining for 250 hours.... I'm basically a noob . I've submitted a request on PC ED, and will hopefully be seeing some of you in game soon!

The Asp is a damn fine ship, and from personal experience the DBx is not too shabby either.

Please feel free to add your name to our 'In game friends lists' In game friends list for PC

and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already .

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Welcome to the group, commander Emericanized. While the DBE is a good exploration ship, the Asp that you already own is the best in the business (IMO) when fitted for it.

The Viper is a good little combat ship. If you want to wing up sometime for some bounty hunting, let me know.

I think Ill save up for a second ASP-Ex then! I'm too paranoid about losing the modules ive gathered for mining to swap them out, haha. Wing Bounty Hunting would be great. I'm currently based in the Atins system(pristine metallic reserves), but I wouldn't mind seeing more of the galaxy

Having a second ship is handy for specialized stuff. In case you aren't already aware, Inara has good outfitting information to help you find the modules you need. You can check for several modules at once, and see where they are close to home.

I just checked, and you are about 230 ly from me (I'm usually around Gende / Azrael area). Maybe we can setup a hunt somewhere in the middle.
