What is the best way to start making a little money?
I have started to do a little trade but not making much per run ...

Probably the easiest is to take your ship to a nav-beacon and follow the local authority around. Scan the same ships they're interested in and once they open fire help them by doing the same (even a little bit is enough), make sure you have scanned the ship you're attacking and double check if it is wanted. Also helps with basic flight maneuvers as you're trying to keep up with their ships. Don't worry if you loose a ship or two or three. The sidewinder you start off with will be made available for free if you bit off more than you could chew.
Also SCAN the SHIP you're firing on. Wanted is a good target, not knowing or clean is bad...

The learning curve in E-D is pretty darn steep, so be sure to ask a lot of questions.

We're here to help. :)

Purchase the docking computer and then mimic what the computer does. For the longest time I was trying to land my ship like a plane... The docking computer reminded me that I'm in a different environment.

Glad you're having fun so far!

I had a hell of a time getting used to docking. This video may help you with that. ;)

Just a quick question...

I added the Mobius group on the game 3 days ago, I know all the adds have to be done manually how long does it normally take to be allowed to play in the PVE group?

I am following up on it. Hopefully I'll have some news for you soon.

It usually doesn't take this long. Sorry for the delay.
