CMDR Mn3m3nth reporting for duty

Postby Mn3m3nth » Sun Jan 31, 2016 5:44 pm

Greetings all,

Just applied for membership to the OOM, I'm looking forward to meeting like minded CMDR's out in the black.

I've been playing on the Xbox One since the GPP days and have not long transitioned on to the PC (mainly because I wanted a HOTAS...) so I'm having to learn my way again, though thankfully it's not as incomprehensible as when I started on the XBOne heh.

I unfortunately don't get as much time to play as I'd like at the moment what with work and RL commitments so I can never pin down a usual time when I'm likely to be in game though I generally spend a fair bit of time on the various forums.

I'm interested in every aspect of ED (except PVP obviously...) though I think I'm gonna keep my Xbox account for exploring and use my PC account for everything else. I especially want to get my combat skills increased on the PC as it's a bit of a transition from controller to HOTAS and I keep forgetting which buttons I've mapped to which control heh.

Anyway I look forward to seeing you all around and hopefully hold many an interesting conversation with anyone and everyone :)

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander Mn3m3nth

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Discord (voice and text chat) servers for supporters of Mobius, as well as our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Thanks Xebeth,

That info about the player group faction is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for, would be nice to have a home base and feel more involved by running missions etc for your faction.

Welcome to the group, commander Mn3m3nth.

It's easy to loose track of what HOTAS button does what. That's why I tell my wife it's important that I play everyday so that I don't loose that muscle memory. ;)

Ha Ha love it I'll have to remember that one...

Come to think of it that would work in so many situations ;)
