I'm from the Netherlands, started playing about a month ago and I'm a casual player.

Still very weak in combat but trying to learn while earning some credits with bounty hunting in Xihe.

Please feel free to add your names to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Hi everybody! I'm CMDR CALERAE (in game), I live in freezing Finland, and I have played Elite since 1985 (No, that's not typo)

Elite Dangerous I've played about year for now. I've played in both open and solo, depending on what situation I'm in. I fly in open play if I fly something with insurance way below one million AND I don't have tons of exploration data to loose when I return from long journey. On the other hand I do play in solo if I like to fly my under fitted python because I really don't want to pay 4 mil CR insurance fee for encountering some pack of blood thirsty idiots.

What I do in the game? I've done so far almost everything except mining (which I will try some day). Most of my credits come from trading. I'm not sure if I have earned more from exploring or combat, but I think those are fairly even. I don't like to do PvP and so for my combat ranking isn't very high (expert at a moment).

I'm bit surprised that I haven't noticed Mobius before, because this is a group that I've missed, for obvious reasons.

I belive I even met Mobius himself today!

Hi everyone, CMDR Jack Dunhill reporting for duty.

Im from Finland. When i was a kid i played Elite on C64 and Frontier on Amiga. Now I have logged about 300 hours in Elite: Dangerous, most of them in private group with my friends. I sometimes play open play, but im not big fan of those guys who just attack you without any reason. I have read about Mobius, and thought it sure sounds like a nice place to be. I have only played Mobius for two days, but folks sure seem friendly here.

Hello all,
my ingame name is - you would'nt believe - Cmdr Macdaniel I played E:D since the official release.
Starting my journey at open, i changed to solo soon, because of that "i am captain jack Sparrow(brain) and i am about to take your cargo, because i have nothing meaningful to do-type-of-guy" or the "I am Starkiller and this system is property of my clan-psychos".
Nevertheless i think that the E:D-universe can be so much more interesting just by meeting real people out in the dark. Sending short greetings or have a nice chat, maybe help out each other dealing with a situation. All that stuff
My native language is german, but i think english is the best way to have interstellar communication, so i decided to join the mobius-group. By the way i can improve my skills in english a bit by exercise.
