Greetings fellow Commanders. I am new here having just recently come across your posting on the Player Groups forum of Elite: Dangerous. I am surprised I hadn't thought to search for a group like this much earlier as I think the idea is amazing. I've tried open play once or twice and had my ship destroyed or at least my cargo hold blasted open and all of my cargo stolen so fast I never looked back. However, things do feel much less alive when playing solo. I look forward to exploring the galaxy with other like-minded commanders!

On a separate note, I would be interested in finding out about any Federation aligned player factions which happen to operate within this community. Particularly those with a focus more towards Trading and Exploration as those are my primary areas of interest myself. I do some combat but I like to stick to the more peaceful endeavors. So far I've not gotten too far with exploration as I haven't outfitted a good exploration ship as of yet.. my progress has been quite slow as I tend to play fairly casually. Anyhow, if you know of any federation factions that I might find interesting I'd love to hear about them!

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

Nice one on finding Mobius and a great group of players. I agree that Open can be brutal (and I fly a fully pimped Anaconda) and solo is quite lonely but in Mobius, it won't take long to get your friends list populated and fly in populated space (within the bubble of course)
