Hello, been playing ED for a little under 2 weeks and love it. Brilliant game and very challenging, totally addicting as well.
Tried mining and wasn't very good at that and moved on to trading and some combat. Right now I am in a Cobra which I use for trading and combat.
I live in the US Eastern timezone just outside Washington DC

Still a lot to learn. Hoping to connect with fellows players. Glad I'm here.

Keep hold of your Cebra, it is a brilliant little ship. And, as someone who goes back to Elite V1, I just can't let it go.

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimate to the game while having fun.
