Browsing the forums you might have come across one lunatic defending anything Pilots Federation / Federation / Hudson and mocking people that are not able to handle the flying brick, el dropship "the classic edition".

Been playing Elite quite a bit lately, but never in a group. ATM "out there" exploring in space, not too sure when I am coming back, but might be nice to meet up with some group members in space somewhere... it can be a bit dull sometimes!

I have joined the forums recently as well, and have just applied to join the private group. Been concentrating on combat for now with a fully decked out vulture, but am looking to make the long haul to python / clipper and anaconda so will be giving the trade route a go shortly with the use of a type 7 freighter .

This is my first elite game as well, and although its not a terribly fun game to play solo, the addition of 12000 other people might brighten it up a bit.

Hi all,

I've been playing ED for a few months now, sometimes in open but mostly in solo mode; I tend to work a lot and try to squeeze gameplay in when I can; perhaps it was partly that and partly not wanting to interact with a certain kind of individual that left me without any actual desire to PvP. I do have a good grasp of the game, though, owning several ships, and doing things like bounty hunting and exploration.
