Darr Valen here. This group played a major role in my decision to get E:D. I was a longtime Freelancer trader, and can't count the amount of times PVP ruined my fun. Once I found out about this group, it was only a matter of time before I finally broke and bought Elite.

I do trade primarily, but I really want to get out and explore with a non-combat ship of some sort. The expansive universe is really alluring. Working on saving for a hauler right now. Playing with an X52 right now. I started in the LHS 3447 area. Eventually I hope to push put to the Sol system eventually, while staying neutral.


Hopefully I will see some other Commanders in game soon! Going to request a group invite now.

Hi, it looks like no-one has answered your query yet so I'll chip in.
Mobius is a PVE group open to anyone who is willing to abide by that style of playing, no PVP except in conflict zones.
Lots of great people in here, I've played exclusively in Mobius since I joined up, and I've only had very positive experiences with any CMDRs I come across.

52 y/o, live in the U.S., don't mind a bit of combat fun - but can't stand the kids (of whatever age) who get their jollies by spoiling other folks' enjoyment. Trigger event for finally looking into Mobius was a particularly obnoxious self-proclaimed "pirate" who nailed me twice in one trade run. Turned out to be a 28 y/o from France who plays the same type of game in multiple games - and while I was hoping to interact with real people, I rather prefer them to be post adolescent...

Used to play a fair amount of space sim back in the day, when Elite was new and later when Descent came around. Enjoyed Descent enough that I ran a private server so my friends and I could have a blast without the "run around and shoot everything in sight" crowd. MUCH more fun to stalk each other...

And I suspect this group will actually talk when we meet up in the deep dark! A little galactic camaraderie, as it were.
