Been playing Elite Dangerous since January, nearly exclusively on Mobius, yet for some reason have only now thought to register on the forum to check in!

I live in the UK, and only get an hour or so at a time to log in and play due to having a family! But have slowly progressed in the game up to an A standard Vulture. I mainly hang around the Cheneti area currently, as I tend to just have a fly around killing pirates in a RES in the limited time I get. But have traded around the bubble a bit, including a 71 stop rares run in a Type 6.

Don't see too many players in the black, but always get a "Hello" when I do.

38 year old Trucker from Germany, living roughly 20 kilometers from Rottweil (yep, where those lovely doggies got their name from) in a small place called Schramberg (if you've heard of that place, probably because it made some nice Watches back in the day. Junghans Uhren if that says anything to you). Middle section of the Black Forest area these places.

Been looking for a less stressful place to do some relaxed PvE and stumbled over Mobius. So far i do like everything (also like the Teamspeak Server) but have yet to stumble across anyone of the community in-game. Which probably is due me revolving only around Neche / NLTT21088 Systems to make my living. Fully equipped Asp (as far as i know) makes me a nice coinage each day, saving up for either a FD once i get the Rank or Python, whatever comes first.

Currently i have this week off, when i get back to work my fly-times be restricted to my evenings for about 1-2 hours, weekends maybe a bit longer but not much. Taking care of my mother (100% disabled, highly diabetic, can't leave her bed and since last year also in need of constant diaper change) together with my wife tends to take up quite some time.

Hi all!

I’m CMDR Wraith Crowly.

I started playing Elite Dangerous last weekend and I have been having a blast. My intention was to play solo till I got the hang of the game and some good equipment, but solo feels really empty. After seeing someone mention Mobius on the Steam forum I decided to come here and take a look. I live in the U.S in the central time zone and hop on for the evenings (if I have time) and on the weekends. Currently I’m playing by myself, but I think I will be able to drag another friend into the game if there is a Steam sale. I’m looking for a safe place to learn the game at my own pace without it felling so empty, since the social aspect is what makes games like these great.

Hi Everyone
My name is Cmdr Nutcracker (naff I know but it was from my days playing Unreal Tournament)
I am VERY new to ED but already I have discovered playing in OPEN is a no no for me.
Why? - Well if i say I was blown to bits by some sadistic HUMAN commander at a NAV point when I
was'nt even carrying any cargo and was flying the "free Sidewinder" you will get my point.
I just want to fly,explore and trade.
I do NOT want to be bullied,harrased or involved in "Top Gun" scenarios.
I hope that makes sense and that MOBIUS can provide that environment.
I do not want to kill anyone and conversely do not want to be blown to bits just
to satisfy someones ego for a few credits.

Hey there guys, Commander TallPaul here. I've been playing Elite Dangerous since it was in beta, I usually play with a small group of friends in open play but more recently it seems they have gotten a little burnt out with the game. Likewise myself I encounter very few players in open play that engage in little more than hello and goodbye chat. I've known about this group and Mobius since the beginning as I was regularly on Frontier's own forums, so I've decided to take the plunge and bother to sign up and get playing with some players who actually want to play.

I'm currently aligned to Lavigny Duval, but being a combat pilot, I do little more than help with Crime Sprees and fight in Combat Zones. So if you are an Imperialist like me and usually play around 7pm to 10pm in the UK then feel free to send me a friend request in game. I have a mic and kinda get frustrated that nobody ever hails me hahaha.

Just turned 50 years young & I've been playing games since my parents got a Grandstand TV console, then saw the first Elite that got me hooked on the BBC Micro, then the Amiga 500, then a 386DX, etc, etc. Live in Reading in SE England, work in High Wycombe, married, 2 boys (one of whom doesnt realise he should have left home by now).

Played a few games over the years, like Unreal Tournament on dial up & the rest of the series, the Wing Commander series, Eve Online, & am currently swapping between playing Battlefield 4, GTA V and Elite Dangerous (just did a reset).
