CMDR Keyes. reporting in. I really didnt want to add a bunch of numbers or letters to my name so i just went with a . because Keyes was already taken.... so thats the story there XD.
Anyway I bought ED on sale about a week ago and while I was struggling at first having never played a sim game (let along a space sim) I am having a blast now. I originally wanted to go all out on exploration but lets just say the rush of err..... not quite so model citizen work swayed me into the "trading" business. Seriously executing my first run was one of the most exhilerating feelings I have ever had playing a game.
I am roleplaying my pilot as such now. A nobody who had big dreams of exploring the galaxy who has let the thrill of the "smuggling game" take him down a different path. Maybe at some point he will redirect to his original goal.
The main reason I am playing this game is for the RP purposes, galaxy eploration, and because I enjoy games with steep learning curves that allow you to see noticable variations in skill. I don't want to be griefed, trolled, bullied, etc. as a new player so this looks like a fantastic place to be
