I hit Jura last night with the new loadout of my Mining Python I have named Banana.

I spent about an An hour and a quarter in the Pristine rings there and then the servers dropped. I still had lost of cargo space left (about 90 tonnes if all my limpets were gone) but when the servers came up, I decided to head to a station and call it a night. Made about 1.5 million. Lots of Painite and Palladium there. And even found quite a few where the Painite and Palladium content was over 40%.

Tonight I will try again and be a little more picky as well as get a full load in and see what happens. I am still not able to see how I can make as much as trading, but I can definitely see the enticement of mining. Again, it reminds me of fishing. Relaxing, not a lot of concentration and I get to listen to some great tunes or catch up on my podcasts. This would be great in a wing with friends.

I always do a tour and look for bulletin board missions to get rid of my Pain(-in the arse-)ite, Osmium and Platinum after I have finished mining. It takes a while but you get faction rank-up plus extra money. Paininte usually sells for around 70000 CR/ton through a BB mission. I have learned from experience that a a Python is better for this than an Annaconda because you can get to all the outposts.

I had 3 collectors, shooting 9 limpets on my python miner build. Hard to keep those fed.
