Speed Grinding Empire Rank

I researched the fastest way to grind rank with the Empire (the Ngalinn run) to unlock the Imperial Clipper and Cutter within 6 hours. Arguably the two sexiest ships in the game! In this video I show how I did it. Hope it might be useful to someone else.

Thanks for this video. I really want the Cutter to use as a strip mining ship, and I have been putting it off because of the rank requirement. This will give me an easy way to just knock it out one evening. I appreciate the work you put into making this video! Thanks again!

Just wanted to follow up that thanks to this video, I'm now the owner of an Imperial Cutter! It's a fantastic ship, and was worth the slog to get it!

Thanks for posting, it worked a treat. Much quicker than the fed rank grind.

I now have a shiny cutter outfitted for strip and core mining (2x c2 mining lasers, abrasion blaster and seismic launcher in the c2 slots) plus 2 c3 beams and one c4 multicannon, so it can fight off pirates too.

A couple of painite mining runs later and have more or less earned enough to a rate it.
