Hard to know what it's for. The redeem page says "You will be able to use this decal after the next major update to the game" but the email you get says "Congratulations on redeeming your code for the forthcoming EGX Pack".

I think the skin is for the ASP this time, if I recall correctly. The decal you can use on any ship.
