Anyone succeeded using the comms panel? I can't switch tabs, so all I can do is send text chats to Local, or something.

I could switch tabs......just used my normal switch tab button....

Going to have to reconfigure a few things i think.....I will have another play around tonight.....

Same. I had all sorts of confusion yesterday in trying to message Barking Mad and Jockgit in game. I also have the issue that my default interface 'back' is bound to my secondary fire button, which has worked without issues up to now in all interfaces etc. With the new comms panel I think it's still sending the fire command to the weapons. So sending a message while in a station is now a dangerous thing to do.

Need to test that more this evening.

Apparently the problem I had was caused by the fact that I've set Next Tab and Prev Tab to keys rather than buttons (although they're still sent from my HOTAS).

As it's a copy, I'm a loooooong way from home.

Trying to decide if it's worth my while travelling back to civilisation to play with the new ships or not.

It's actually fun to read through the changes. Bit like Little Christmas. New/individual cannon impact sounds sound great (says the dual-cannon-claws loving freagle) :D
Can't wait for your feedback on the Wings mechanics and the external view!
@Jockgit then we should have something for the Blood Serpents, shouldn't we ... great stuff.

EDIT @All beta testers: Could you have a look at the G1 and G2 Cannons whether there are changes in their strength? So muzzle speed, range, damage etc. Thanks!

There's Strong and Weak Signal Sources in Frame Shift now. I've also noticed NPC ships flying in pairs, which I guess are NPC wings.

Tried the FDL for a while and quite liked it. Great visibility in the cockpit.

No sign of a Vulture yet for me.

Just self destruct. Its beta anyway. All the ships are 100cr.

I tried the Vulture last night. Best upgrades I could find at one station, which werent the best overall. The vulture is fun to fly. I am looking for class A power dist and I know where to get it but it's quite a journey. With 2 Class 3 Beams, you eat through ships very quickly, but this isn't maintainable with a B grade power dist.
