Just hiring crew, or casting spots in a zombie movie I'm making. Can't tell.
And as for the passengers...

Jump animations are cool though.

I haven't been able to see a POI yet. I can see the blue circles, but can't spot anything from the air or with the SRV wave scanner.

Audio flying around a planet surface is terrible. Volume going up and down, tracks cutting in and out with pops.

Just simple video demonstrating the SLF docking. Met a few CMDRs having fun in the beta outside Jameson as well while hunting for enemies. Gotta love how friendly playing in Mobius lets you be. Not worried about being murdered for no reason.

The Jump Animation feels like we're getting the more fleshed out and closer to the final finished animation version. It's a step well into the right direction.

Be Careful around White Dwarf Stars. I got sucked into the Tendrils trying to avoid it.

I kept getting disconnected, so each time I logged in I had to relive this over and over again like a Bad Space version of Bill Murray.

Eventually, I managed to get in long enough to do a self destruct. So, after 4 logins having to repeat this over and over, I managed to get myself back to Ray Dock.

Once they seem to get things stabalized on the servers (It appears a corrupted mission template was causing all these issues, they had to find it and purge it from all stations and commanders, even those not logged in) I managed to finally get to Shinrarta.

And here is what the rest of the A-Team has to look forward to in all my pics in game now :P

The second time I tried scooping one I got really badly ensnared in the grav waves. Had to find an escape vector and gun the engine to max, and it was still tricky.

Regardless, love the new feature.

I think I might get back to bounty hunting. Spent last night using my T9 and a SLF crewmate to hunt all over the nav beacon at Shin and other places. It's fun to interdict with a ship as large as the Type 9. I just wish my large ships could launch 2 SLFs, considering the size. Blast it.. now I want carriers in game. :/ It would be nice to have a ship launched shuttle for the beluga or the like.

One CTD and shite loads of bugs......

Cargo disappearing......From ship.....

Cargo not showing in SRV Hold when you transfer......But being shown in ship if you board and not transfer.....

Canisters floating off the ground......

Signals on wave scanner disappearing but can still hear audio to guide you....

Plus lots more smaller things......

I could load solo fine, Mobius.. fogedaboutit.

It's already mid-evening. The rise really comes at 15:00-16:00 or so, with the people offwork or out of school.

That being said, got a lovely CTD earlier.. but 2 for an entire day isn't bad.

The good thing as far as the A-Team is concerned, is that WINGS WORKS!

We can work around bugs like we did in the past like the poop and scoop (Wing members would not see loot on POI's on planets, so the person that sees it would scoop it up and then jettison it so that others can see it and pick it up) as long as the main mechanic of Wings works.

Yes, currently, Solo seems more stable as far as server errors, but it is still an early build with a lot of changes, so I can give it a pass.

Oh and fighters are fun. I had a low level NPC crew that I wanted to rank up, so I dropped into a Nav Beacon and launched the NPC in the fighter. I chose the target, scanned it and gave the attack order and let the fighter take the ship out. I stayed with the fight in case the fighter got in trouble, but damn they are effective. I really need to do the NPC Command Keybinds, because that panel is not quick to move around.

And I predict that both Tour Ships and Wedding Barges will become the target of a lot of Cmdrs. going forward, because both are spamming local with the same sort of Crap that annoys people and we are all suffering. We WILL take them down. In Fact, I think a complete new gameplay mechanic will be to wing and kill. Fun For Friends.

Well.. as Lori mentioned earlier, wings works at the moment. :D

We were using the port forwarding method, which proved to be stable. :ugeek:

Personally - had no issues with any aspects of the game - it all worked for me.. :shock: (Oh, the, "Let me blast Dawg in the face with my beams whilst he's in the fighter with no health - purely as a test of course.. surprisingly ended in my demise and respawn in my ship..) So I can say that this mechanic certainly works.. :P

Just a suggestion to anyone jumping into the crewmate SLF aspect of things:

Bind the following keys somewhere:
Defensive, Focus Target, Follow, and Request Docking

Those 4 commands you'll use an awful lot, and if you're a HOTAS or controller user, you'll waste an excessive amount of time navigating the cluttered SLF menu. I bound mine to some empties I hd left on the KB.
