PvE group growing daily

Even if Mobius decides that he's tired of managing this many people we will still be able to play in the group on the game, unless for some absurd reason they decide to lock out the Mobius group under the private group play option. The only thing that we'd need to keep the group going in the spirit it was formed was for someone to hit the "kick" button when we had players breaking the groups rules and someone to manage this forum. I can't imagine it completely disappearing if Mobius decides to leave us to ourselves. Even in the groups policy it states that there are no leaders

There are no leaders or chiefs in the group. Try to solve any disagreement between yourselves first, before reporting any offense to an admin or mod of this forum via PM.

The problem is that there is no way for someone to "Take Over". Mobius group is under Mobius's account. Only he can add or kick people out of the group with the tools we have now. If something were to happen, no one could take over the group. If he took a vacation for a week, anyone applying to the group would have to wait till he logged back in to accept them. The website has other admins, but I would imagine that the domain was registered by Mobius himself. He could transfer it to someone else, but if he wanted to leave the game, he can't just give his username and password to someone else.

That is the issue with the groups right now. There is no way to delegate tasks, change ownership, add people that can do other things to help, or even change the name of the group or add a description.

Mobius probably spends a lot of time clicked "Accept" every time he logs in. I think we may have to setup a "New Mouse Fund" at this rate because his will be worn out by Christmas

That is a vary good point Loriath. It would be nice if FD gave group owners the ability to delegate tasks, just as you can on a forum.

Mmmmmm that is problem. I haven't got the game yet so I don't really know a whole lot, I assume the username and password is for his game and not for his group am I right?

Thanks for clearing that up Loriath I think I've got an extra mouse floating around someplace to add to that fund, if not I'll certainly donate like 20-30 dollars

There is no separate username and password for his group. His account is tied to his account. If he deletes his account, the group disappears. That is the issue with the Group management. I don't thing frontier thought groups would ever be more than you and a few buddies that wanted to play together.
