Personally, I think this is getting out of hand. +7000 players dependent on one private individual for their game of choice. I don't believe the group function was ever intended to hold these numbers. FD needs to react to this in my opinion.

I have no issue with this, it means i get to interect with other players in a safe enviroment.

I hear you opti. But what happens if Mobius decides he's had enough of managing +7000 players? (Glad it's not me)

I see no problem with having 7000 people that wish to play together without being forced into a certain play-style.
Is it possible for Mobius to assign others to help organize, or accept new players etc? If not then that would be something FD should look into.

I can't quite comprehend why some people are against groups like Mobius being "7000 strong and controlled by one individual". It's not as if anybody has forced anybody to join Mobius. If Mr Mobius got fed up with it and threw it all in then that doesn't mean nobody could play ED anymore. You could go play solo, open, join another group or create your ow group, and you can take your credits, ships, ranking, property with you. If 7000 people are happy to have their group controlled by one individual then why can't they be left alone to do so? Why are some flagging a group this size up to FD? If FD wanted to restrict the size a group can attain then they would have implemented that.

I can't see the proplem myself.
