First of all. I'm back.
I have not have any of your issues Kharma.
And for powerplay, I like the idea of it, but it is sort of a RPG element which doesn't work as FD expected. What seems to be happening is thatr people change their allegiance just to get the powerspecific modules. The tasks you have for Preparing, Expanding anf Fortifying is, whit the alliance faction at least' just transporting tradeagrrements or whatever one place to another, for each task.
Btw. a document ways 1 ton???
It makes a certain kind of sense though since the Alliance is primarily focused on trade and diplomacy, rather than the Kill,kill,kill by the Feds and Imperials.
But it could be done a whle lot better. Different cargo types, variations based on economy type an so on.
The AI is a funy beast, though sometimes they are a lot better than in 1.2. Clever and hard as fuck to get behind sometimes, dumb as fuck other times. Only strange thing I've noticed is that every Clipper I've come across just sits directly in front of me spewing turret fire.
In regards with the 10% penalty on modules, I see that as exactly the same as the penalty for selling ships. I've always wonderd why it wasn't there already. IMO, if they remove the module penalty they shoild remove the ship sale penalty as well.
The bounty system I like. Especially from Beta 7 where they have different length on the timeperiod from 10 or 15 minutes for lesser crimes and scaling upwards. The friendly fire levels has also been raised, or meant to be atleast. ANd if you keep below 100 when docking you won't get fined for it.
