Have you ever "caddyshacked" a pool?

Postby Roger Wilco Jr » Thu Sep 01, 2016 1:26 pm

I did, once. But I got too anxious when no one immediately noticed. So I swam over, pointed it out, examined it closely, picked it up, sniffed it, and then took a bite. But it was too soon. I don't think anybody fell for it for more than about 1/2 a second. At least I got a candy bar out of it. I think Baby Ruth is still the best pinch-hitter, so to speak.

Why do I ask? Well, I heard someone on TV use the the term for the first time yesterday and it brought back memories.

It's time to give this another go.

Two thoughts
1) That's years since I've seen that film! Funny stuff.
2) I wonder if it's possible to get any further off-topic than this, or has the limit been reached?

How can you go off topic when the topic is about throwing chocolate bars into a pool?

No shit! I'd give it 5 stars, but IMDB only gives it 3 1/2!

Do I get some kind of reward? I'm already the King of Reviving Dead Threads - hence the crown. ;)

Like anything on the Internet it's now poisoned by morons and marketers trying to sell you things.
I think we need a new Internet.
