New "The X Files" anyone? [No Spoilers Please]

Just wondered if anyone is giving the new X Files show a go? If so, what do you think? We're you into the old seasons and films?

Personally I am loving it right now, and only just finished watching Episode 2. I think this show (If it gets greenlit for more seasons) has great potential regarding modern day events. They've already dropped little nods to governmental behaviours and Edward Snowden. This...This could be a great show again.

I feel like a kid again, when my parents actually let me sit up on a school night to watch this show. In the UK I seem to recall it being the same time and day as now. Monday at 9pm.

I haven't jumped into the new session yet. My girlfriend and I have been rewatching all seasons on Amazon. I remember watching it with my dad then having to go to bed because he wanted to watch millennium. Damn school nights!

Yeah, I'm about to watch ep 4 in 1/2 hour. I watched the original series when it was on, and have also seen the movies. So far I'm liking the new show. I think ep 1 was best, and ep 3 was funny, but had problems. I hope if finishes strong with only 6 episodes in the season. I'm not even sure if it will be back next year. If they do make more shows, it may be like Sherlock, where they have to try and find the time and it may be a couple of years.

I'm actually preferring Second Chance, but it's on Fridays and is getting bad ratings and will probably be cancelled.

The wife and I are watching X Files, and enjoying it so far. I think we've seen 2-3 episodes at this point.

It is certainly nostalgic. We are only just past Ep. 2 here in the UK.

No spoilers, but I just watched the finale and was pretty disappointed. They went "there" - "there" being where you'd expect most Hollywood pablum to go these days. It's so tiring.
