It's quite thought provoking when you are actually standing on the beaches.....

Thing that pissed me off a bit....On sword beach No Union jack.....Only French flags around the monument and only that poxy little worn sign in the photo.....Yanks beaches loads of plaques and flags and museums commemorating the landing.....

Other thing that pissed me off...Was the Mrs....Single handily keeping the French economy afloat.....

I'm on a short holiday from the FD forums. Again. Theyre very ban happy there. All I did was post an SS symbol pic as a replacement for Li Yungs faction symbol without thinking it through and got a weeks ban. TBH I dont think I shall return. Oh well I dont intentionally mean to upset anyone.

I'm still having my posts there viewed for moderation for pointing out a prejudiced remark made in a post.In reply I mentioned a certain bunker in Berlin.

I had a previous ban for suggesting Brett (Mod) was a bit over zealous and officious. In those exact words! Ive never ever been banned from a forum before. I'm usually relatively polite and never resort to slagging matches, yet that place has banned me twice. They really need to relax a tad and ban where appropriate.

My only reason for the ss symbol was coz I consider the Federation as Nazis, whilst we in the Empire are decent folks in a jesty kind of way. That lot can do with a sense of perspective.

When I return I shall be banned again no doubt for calling the mod what I think he is. I shant repeat it here.

Yeah, I get your reason for the SS reference. Seems obvious. The comment I made was because the person I was responding to kept saying 'red headed step child' (still does) which, although not racial is still singling people out because of genetic differences and parental status that was not chosen by him/her. Like saying 'Paki shop'. I probably over reacted though (vodka)
