Does that go for the new Star Wars film too? After the last 3 films, I really have no interest in this one. It's probably just full of PC crap anyway. I figure I'll watch it eventually, just out of curiosity, but I'll not be paying to sit in a theater.

PS. I remember reading several of the Star Trek books as a kid (my father read them). I liked the TV show, but the books were so much better (as always).

I watched the new Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens just last night. My take on it: It's definitely a good space action movie but whoever wrote the script avoided completely new taking risks and introducing new ideas. Essentially we're looking at a remake of Episode IV: A New Hope tailored to the quirks of today's america. Not a bad movie to see, but shows off very well how badly Hollywood is going, no new ideas are allowed, no one willing to take any risk, they just want the box office money.
