My old band 'Cattle'

Terrible recording. No PA just straight through amps. Did a wake for our drummer who had died of a heroin overdose so played for the first time in five years to do a fund raiser for the local substance misuse and homeless drop in help centre. Our mate stepped in on drums.

Think it reflects the mood...

The obvious styles are Space Rock stuff like Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles, Ullulators, Oroonies, Poisoned Electrik Head etc, Or some Heavy/Thrash/Death Metal or Prog Rock or Classical, but I thought something different might be fun.

Sounds really great, I`m a massive Ozric Tentacles fan, and I have been a fan of Hawkwind for many, many, many years. I also play the Bass guitar, but haven`t been in a band for a long time.

I`ve always wanted to play in a Hawkwind cover band, but sadly, kids, wife, work, life...........

I would love to hear it when its finished.

I`ve been to see Hawkwind loads of times, and got really right off it (amongst other things) as I did when going to see the Ozrics. I`ve given all that up now as it started to ruin my life. I`ll never forget the times I had with my mates though as they were good laughs. Worst time though was seeing Hawkwind at St Davids in Cardiff, it was the worst I`d ever seen them play. It was around the time of the Alien album, they had changed a lot. Ever since then, every singer they have had after that, can`t sing. They`re still going strong though, and I quite enjoyed the Blood of the Earth album.
