Received season pass as a gift gift before I have the game. Long story short, bought and pre-load the game.

I'm gearing up for horizons beta !

I love the live action commercial they are playing non-stop in the U.S. They are playing "The Wander", which I find very appropriate. I never played any of the previous games, but I did look at some videos. FO3 just seemed to be a guy jogging through the countryside for hours and occasionally shooting something. The first two looked even worse with bad scrolling 3D graphics (still better than Space Quest) and all you seemed to do was shoot cave rats for hours on end. Still, the commercial has me thinking about getting this, but I can't imagine finding any time to play it with ED still going strong and Horizons coming soon. Maybe I'll get it on sale in a year or two. ;)

The commercial reminds me that I can't remember ever seeing a commercial or game trailer that actually showed realistic game play (ED included). Back in the day you'd just go to Egghead and look at the back of the box at the tiny screen caps. There was no internet and not really any game reviews in PC magazines. Now you get these multi million dollar productions. If all I saw was the ED trailer I wouldn't have been interested. Luckily I stumbled across some online videos by Stan the Man or Duckman (something like that) and was enthralled with the actual game play (in alpha). That may work with FO4, too.
It's time to give this another go.

Fallout 1 and 2 were very good post atomic wars rpgs. Very well written. Even if they seem antiquated now, they were on par with BG2 and Planescape Torment.

Hmmmmmmmm....

Is all I'll say.......

Not sure on this building/crafting thingy......Controls are a bit shite.......

I Like having the Pip boy app on my tablet for ease of use.........

Lip animation sucks monkey nuts....Even had one persons teeth disappearing.......Speech has cut short a few times as well....

Fair few graphic glitches......Seems to have been dumbed down a bit........Not sure on the navigation panel/pointer/compass......

Overall not really impressed........

I was impressed with the size and weight of the hard cover survivors guide I got though......Not opened it yet....Supposed to have a code for an E companion or sthg designed for a second screen........

I'll see how it pans out.....

This is a Bethesda game, they always have bugs and glitches to start with. There has already been a patch for some things.

This is me done off MP games until the new year, so see ya guys :P
