The probability that you came about and exist today is the same as that turtle sticking its head out of the water — in the middle of that life preserver -- on one try and you did it!! Congratulations and welcome to the human race. It's not always pretty and sometimes it hurts so bad.. you are not alone. But we are all brothers and sisters when it comes down to it and the good people of Mobius obviously care as I am sure many others do also. i have no idea how i managed to miss this post for so long but i am very glad things are working out for you. it takes guts to talk about mental health issues, especially in the current benefit street driven atmosphere.

my advice is to ignore it, it doesn't apply to you or me as we both suffer from illnesses that can often be debilitating. I was diagnosed as suffering from type 2 bipolar affective disorder about 8 years ago now so i know what it can feel like when people start throwing around the striver vs skiver rhetoric.

take the time you need to get to know your condition, keep a mood diary and a sleep diary to help you take control of things. after a while you may start to see a pattern develop and you will know when you need to take preventative action to stop things getting on top of you.

if you need any advice on coping strategies feel free to PM me, especially if you are in the UK as i know a lot about how to defend yourself from ATOS and their dodgy assessments.

We can do it. No one is an island. Things take time. I'll be back gaming soon (felt ashamed, but getting better). Just sold my old 16 track and have saved the extra quids to get a GTX 970. I've been using a GT 740 and it didn't have the guts to run the home made VR on a decent resolution.
