As I have not registered via Tapatalk (who would have thought? ) I am not 100% sure, but there is a menu item to change your password when you go to "people" and then on your own profile. I can imagine you might see an item "set password" or similar. You have an email address set, that I can confirm. So you either set it manually, or it is the same as on the social site from which you came.

Sorry to bring this topic to life, but it would be most helpful if we saw cmdr names in tapatalk when you look at someones profile, just a suggestion if it can be done easily enough.

That would be a feature request for the Tapatalk guys. I have found no way of displaying custom profile fields in Tapatalk.
There is no option server side.

As you all know we will be upgrading our forum software to phpBB 3.1 tomorrow. That means we will also have to install the Tapatalk extension for the 3.1 series, which is sadly still missing some features. Personal messaging is one of those. Tapatalk has announced a newer version but no release date yet.

Understandably we will not postpone our upgrade to an unknown date just because the development of one external extension is late.

I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and will upgrade the extension ASAP when a newer version is available.

I have been trying for 3 hours now to reactivate Tapatalk, but their servers seem to have problems at the moment.
Right now I can't even get into their dashboard for forum administration (Error 500 on tapatalk.com)

So I have disabled tapatalk for now to be on the safe side and will retry tomorrow.
I am really sorry for that, as I also use it when on my smartphone.

Luckily our new forum has a really great responsive design, that handles great also on small screens.

The Tapatalk extension for phpBB 3.1 is not working correctly so I have to keep it deactivated. It is still in Beta, by the way.
I am sorry for all our Tapatalk users (me included)! As soon as Tapatalk releases a stable extension, I will look at it again.

I am super happy to announce that we are back on tapatalk!

Just tried to login with Tapatalk V4.6.2 Pro -> failed.

If i search for "http://elitepve.com" in tapatalk it shows me a very long list with reference to all the same side.
After selecting any result of this list, i could read very well any post in this forum, but as soon i try to login, the message "Verbinde zum Server" (english: connecting to server) is shown forever until i cancel it.

I guess i got yesterday an Update of Tapatalk, so maybe its a problem with the new Version ?

I will forward this to their support. The have to look into it. Works fine with my tapatalk.
