Just a note - when you send a PM it isn't saved among your PMs, so it's worth saving a clipboard copy to notepad if you think you might need to refer back to it.
Hopefully, if you forget but the recipient replies, they will quote your original text.
There doesn't seem to be an option to change this behaviour either by default or during composition.

It stays in your "Outbox" until the recipient reads it. Then it is moved to your "Sent Messages" folder.
