Maybe one line so it's not taking up as much screen all the time? Something like:

Welcome Commanders, to the <Linky bit>!

I can imagine some people needing to see it after logging in. Although, it is available as a post elsewhere of course.

It's good as it is, I think. The only thing I'd change, personally, is the font size. I'd make it bigger so it stands a bit more against the rest. Or maybe move the current timestamp to the right, with the last visit one?

And it definitely should not disappear when logged in, IMO.

How are you seeing it? Do you see it centered and larger font (1.5x size) or normal size to the left?
I had to reload the css after changing it, so maybe you just have to hit Ctrl F5.

I was seeing it left-aligned and in small font. Now I see it large and centered, and I think it’s perfect. Nice job, mate!
