I've noticed that. Typically only happens to me when I am flying a ship where my seat is not centered in the bridge, Cutter, FDL, etc.

Another thing to remember.. 50LY Condas are possible. 50LY Cutters and Corvettes aren't. For exploration yes, no way a combat conda can achieve that, to get 50+ LY the ship will be stripped down and d-rated making it very weak for combat. I figured that went without saying, since no combat vehicles...

Only success I ever had with cannons or rails, in any ship, was against large targets. I can't stand using them in average encounters.

Built with multi's though my vette rips through everything. Tack on my burst lasers and I just watch the targets melt.
