You don't need to have the planetary surface scanner in order to claim 'first discovered by' on a new planet etc do you? just have to scan the individual body with my long range scanners?

There seems to be a wall at a certain distance when I scroll..is there an actual 'limit' and any of you guys been there?

I felt quite chuffed when I hit the 5k distance...but is it really any kind of achievement? How far out have you guys been?

Well..if they do bring in instant Teleprescence...I want to be able to send back all my exploration data instantly...happy enough to collect the pay when I get back, but if we can now set up telep over vast distances there's no reason why we cant transmit exploration data!

There really is only one thing to do right now. Wait for the beta. We can blow up their forum when we have actually tested it.
